Dear Mr. Galesi
It is now five months since I assumed the post of County Governor of Västernorrland. Prior to that, I was Minister of Labour in the no-socialist government of Sweden, from 1991 to 1994.

I am writing to you because I was not happy about the incorrect and unfortunate remarks that NUTEK made about Lars Olof Känngård. I have spoken to the Director General of NUTEK, Birgit Erngren, in the past week and said that in my view NUTEK owes Känngård a written apology. Undoubtedly, NUTEKs words have caused unnecessary complications for your company. I hope that the action I have taken will contribute to clearing the air.

The cooperation between Söderström/Känngård and the County Administrative Board is working very well. We in the county are very happy about your venture Solleftiå and wish you all the best.

The King and Queen of Sweden will be visiting Ånge local authority on September 3. I have written to the court asking that they pay us at short visit to Solleftiå in the morning of September 4. I should very much like to invite you to dinner at the Residence on the evening of September 3. Besides their Majesties, I am expecting about 20 more guests, all of them very important for the county.
